If travelling by road, Swatragh is located on the main A29 road from Newry to Coleraine. If travelling from Dublin, follow the M1 to Newry then you have two choices, either continue on the M1 to Belfast then take the M2/M22 to Toomebridge then take the A29, Swatragh is the first village after Maghera on the A29.
Secondly upon reaching Newry, follow the A29 north to Maghera and Swatragh.
